Delete data stored by Ergomi
Ergomi is designed to keep most workout and coaching data on your device.
If you want to delete your data, you have a few options depending on what you want removed.
1. Delete local app data on your phone
To remove data stored locally on your Android device:
- Delete individual workouts or history from inside the app, if available
- Uninstall Ergomi
- Or open Android Settings and clear app storage for Ergomi
This removes locally stored items such as:
- Workout history
- Coach Memory notes and compact coaching summaries
- Saved settings and preferences
- Local export files still stored in app-managed locations
2. Understand workout history vs Coach Memory
Deleting a workout from visible history removes the detailed workout record from the app’s history.
Ergomi may also keep compact local Coach Memory summaries derived from completed workouts so the coach can maintain training continuity. These summaries are less detailed than the original workout and may include values such as sport, duration, distance, heart rate, power, cadence, and training-load estimates.
A dedicated in-app control for clearing Coach Memory separately is planned. Until that is available, clearing Ergomi’s app storage or uninstalling Ergomi removes local Coach Memory summaries from your device.
3. Delete exported or synced data
If you exported or synced data to a third-party service, that copy is controlled by the external provider.
Examples may include:
- Strava
- Concept2 services
- Health Connect
You may need to delete that data directly in the connected service.
